Welder Details: • Temp-to-Hire position • $19.00 to $21.00 /hour • Full Time work available • Various shifts available (Monday through Friday from 04:00am to 02:20pm) • Local Structural Steel Fabricator. • Heavy Industrial. • The facility is not climate controlled. Steel Toe boots required. • Associates will be required to work in heat/ cold. • Breakroom area and water stations available. • Positions will require to lift up to 50 lbs, utilize tape measurements, grinders, welders or machine operators. • Must be able to work in a hot and dusty work environment. • Welding test required. Field Service Welder - Earthmoving

About the position Welders will be responsible for performing welding, fabricating and machining repairs on the full line of Caterpillar products and competitor equipment. The person in this role should demonstrate initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in a safe and efficient manner. The Welder will advance in classification as attitude, skill level, and job performance allows in the welding department within TTCO. Responsibilities • Perform welding, fabricating and machining repairs on Caterpillar products and competitor equipment. , • Demonstrate initiative and commitment to teamwork. , • Provide excellent customer service. , • Perform basic safe machine operation and inspection. , • Utilize Stick, MIG, TIG welding and portable line boring. , • Perform metal cutting using Flame Torch, Plasma and Carbon Arc. , • Conduct shop, yard, and job site clean-up as required. , • Operate wash rack equipment and properly clean components. , • Create comprehensive, timely, and accurate service reports. , • Keep accurate records of all work.
