MIG welders are responsible for joining metal parts together—typically steel, stainless steel, or aluminum—by melting the base materials and the wire electrode to form a strong, precise bond. They often read blueprints, follow technical drawings, and ensure welds meet specific standards. MIG welding is commonly used in manufacturing, automotive repair, construction, and metal fabrication due to its efficiency and strong, clean welds.
