Job Description Essential Functions: • Performs Mig and Tig welding processes. • Makes adjustments on welding machine settings as required to maintain a quality weld. • Performs setups and changeovers for departments in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. • Change tips, weld liner, nozzle, wire, and torch. • Trouble shoots weld problems. • Perform other tasks as directed. • May rotate to other departments as needed to operate a variety of equipment. • Complies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures. • Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required. May be required to wear PAPR. • Interprets part prints, specifications, production orders, and troubleshoots equipment. • Completes daily inspections and cleaning of machines and work areas. • Utilize route sheets and blueprints as needed to produce parts accordingly. • Must be able to work scheduled overtime hours. Job Profile The company is searching for a Maintenance Welder who will be responsible for safely and efficiently repairing and maintaining plant industrial equipment and machinery. The position will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of equipment to include conveyor systems, shakers, gearboxes, fixed plant equipment, and other mobile equipment as necessary.
