OFF grid and Specialty Project Solar Consultant

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. Poly Energy is a growing renewable energy company specializing in off-grid solar power systems for homes, cabins, farms, Commercial and remote businesses. We help people achieve energy independence and reduce their reliance on the grid. As demand for self-sustaining energy solutions rises, we’re expanding our team to meet the need. Duties • Prospect and generate leads through networking, outreach, and inbound inquiries • Assess customer needs and design customized off-grid solar solutions • Educate customers on off-grid technology, battery storage, system sizing, and installation processes • Prepare quotes and system proposals (training and tools provided) • Close sales and coordinate with the design/installation team • Maintain CRM records and follow up with leads consistently • Stay informed on solar and battery technologies, incentives, and trends Experience • Solar Sales experience - 1 to 2 years minimum • Strong understanding of solar PV and battery storage systems (off-grid experience a big plus) • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms • Experience with solar design software (Aurora, Helioscope, etc.) is a plus but not required Join us as we lead the charge towards a sustainable future through innovative solar solutions! Solar Installation Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and safety protocols. The Solar Installer will work collaboratively with a team to ensure efficient and high-quality installations. Responsibilities • Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements. • Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installation processes. • Conduct site assessments to evaluate structural integrity and suitability for solar installations. • Collaborate with electricians to connect solar systems to the electrical grid, ensuring compliance with local codes. • Troubleshoot Electrical Systems • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at construction sites. • Operate forklifts or other machinery as required for material handling on-site. • Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks associated with high voltage electrical work. Experience • Previous experience in solar installation or related fields such as electrical work or construction is preferred. • Familiarity with power tools, including drills, saws, and other equipment used in solar installations. • Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is essential. • Experience working on construction sites, particularly in roles that involve high voltage or low voltage electrical systems. • A background as a commercial / Residential Electrician is a plus but not mandatory. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
