Construction Superintendent

Konisto is looking for a Construction Superintendent / Field Manager to manage Utility Scale Solar construction sites. Konisto is an EPC construction company that specializes in 1 to 50 MW ground mount solar arrays. Our core values are innovation, Invention, and evolution. We encourage collaboration, creative problem solving and learning from mistakes. Field and office staff work closely to make sure every project we build is better than the last. Konisto performs most work with our own crews. The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire construction site including civil, mechanical, and electrical work. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones, and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Applicants should be able to use basic hand tools, move freely around an outdoor construction site, and lift material up to 50 pounds. Konisto works outdoors year round. This position requires travel throughout the Midwest and Western United States. Responsibilities • Plan daily, and weekly, operation of construction projects including safety, quality, and production. • Manage their plan to ensure employees, equipment, and material are organized to work safely with a high level of quality and production • Communicate progress with project managers through daily reporting using Autodesk Build • Manage subcontractors and construction site organization • Ensure Quality Control is maintained and reported • Coordination with Project Manager and Operations Manager • Innovating, Inventing, and Evolving as a team leader Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in utility scale solar construction • Experience with civil, mechanical, and electrical construction • Strong project management and communications skills • Ability to read construction documents • Familiarity with regulatory construction standards • Software: at minimum Windows OS, MS Office Suite. We prefer experience with Smartsheets, Autodesk Build, and Bluebeam. • Ability to work outdoors in a wide range of conditions • Ability to travel full time • Work 50+ hours per week • Manage SWMPP compliance Benefits • Hourly pay with overtime • Per Diem for travel • Travel pay • Company Truck and tools • 401k with match • Free medical, dental and vision insurance.
