Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Development Assistant to support our growing development team in coordinating solar and construction project activity. This individual will play a key role in managing communications, tracking progress across multiple systems, and serving as a liaison between departments. The ideal candidate has strong research and communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and ideally has experience in the construction or renewable energy industry. Requirements Key Responsibilities • Lead Management: Follow up on leads in the CRM, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely updates. • Inbox & Calendar Coordination: Manage and organize multiple shared email inboxes; schedule meetings and manage multiple calendars across departments. • Customer Outreach: Communicate professionally with prospective and current clients via email, phone, and social media; assist with cold calling and follow-ups. • Marketing Support: Assist in building email blasts, newsletters, and social media posts using platforms like Mailchimp, Canva, or similar. • Project Coordination: Track and follow up on project milestones such as permit status, utility interconnection progress, and subcontractor documentation. • Reporting & Analytics: Submit daily and weekly activity reports, review industry news and market trends, and help the team stay informed on developments in the energy sector. • Administrative Support: Maintain digital filing systems, organize meeting documentation, and support general department coordination as needed.
