Solar Project Developer • Location: Johnstown, PA • Pay Rate: $55,120 per year • Schedule: Day Shift: Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 5pm What's in it for you? • Manufacturing a wide variety of high-quality hooks, hangers, and innovative products for customers worldwide. What will you be doing?Makes arrangements and appointments for business contacts within the Solar industry that include end users and distributors to obtain production work for employees with disabilities. • Coordinates trip and trade show attendance with the Director-Solar Development and other sales team to ensure efficient and frequent visits to customer base. • Responsible for attendance and exhibiting at trade shows, including registration, booth set up, completion of forms, manage shipping/ freight of trade show materials to and from shows. • Participates in new marketing material development, including brochures, web content, trade show displays, etc. • In office work includes timely follow up on all leads from phone calls, email, and Web site submissions. Also involves establishing appointments for future trips. • Completes all trip agendas and Expense/trip reports. Timely notification to Sales Support of trip agendas for inclusion in salesman calendar. Maintains attendance in/out board. Completes other agency forms as required. • Initiates and maintains customers contact, including trade show follow up. • Identifies and develops potential products and markets. Recommends new customers. • Interfaces with administrative and production personnel to develop new/modified products anticipating new markets or customer needs. • Interfaces with customer and production to ensure customer satisfaction. Acts as the “voice of the customer” within the organization. • Responsible for maintaining vehicle, and other equipment such as cell phone, laptop computer, etc. • Provides support to sales and marketing on product presentations and customer support. • May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks. • Review/measure project site drawings using specialized software (Bluebeam Revu) for estimating purpose. • Complete the estimating worksheet and quote form for the Solar team. • Performs all other duties as directed by the President.
