We are seeking a committed, results-oriented Clean Energy Advisor to guide our customers toward their optimal clean energy solution for their home or business. Our needs are two-fold, and your exact job description will depend on your particular skills, experience, and interests. Both of these sales-oriented skill sets are critical to our growth. This is a hybrid position: remote plus in the field in New Hampshire and Vermont. Prospecting Responsibilities and Skills: • Generate your own solar and battery leads. Must have a proven track record of results from past prospecting activities, preferably in the solar or home improvement space. • Possess skills and experience in two or more of the following prospecting tactics: grassroots organizing, partnership-building / business development, event staffing, canvassing, referral programs, social media, and personal brand building. • Some weekend and evening availability required. Sales Responsibilities and Skills: • Provide an excellent customer experience, from the first inquiry to post-installation. • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals. • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and supporting energy savings analysis to prospective customers in a professional and consistent manner. • Become an expert in our products and services, as well as net metering, financing, and solar design tools. • Ability to maintain and grow a customer pipeline and referral base. • Some travel is required.
