This position is responsible for inspecting and receiving incoming parts and materials, performing in-process and final inspections, and coordinating the calibration of certified measuring equipment. Candidates should have experience operating within an ISO-certified environment, with a strong understanding of quality standards and procedures. The role also requires: • Inspecting welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with specifications • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes • Experience working in a job shop manufacturing environment, where adaptability and attention to detail are essential This is a hands-on position that demands precision, consistency, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Duties & Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. • Interpret detailed blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications, and routing sheets to determine production standards and tolerance limits • Troubleshoot print and bill of materials problems in cooperation with Engineering and production staff • Recommend methods of assembly, welding, and production • Perform inspection on first piece, in process, purchased part, finished material, and products, ensuring conformance to specifications • Test finished products for paint quality and thickness, welding quality, dimensions, fit, blast profile, and appearance • Perform standard inspection tests including air testing welds, and magna-flux testing • Route product for re-work • Complete all required records and paperwork including, but not limited to, inspection reports, damage reports, return reports, and re-work orders • Process purchase damage numbers when incorrect material is received • Ensure finished product is packaged and loaded correctly to minimize possible damage during transportation • Analyze inspection results and assist in addressing and resolving production problems causing deviations from existing standard • Communicate with plant supervision noted deviations of tolerances and quality • Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability • Make recommendations regarding safe working methods • Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures • Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations Requirements • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Experience working in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment • Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and job shop operations • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) • Ability to inspect welds and fabricated parts for quality compliance • Ability to perform well in a team environment • Self-motivator and must be flexible to accommodate needs of your team • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents such as blueprints, routings, work orders, engineering specifications and safety regulations • Ability to write routine reports and documentation • Ability to effectively present information to customers and other employees of the organization

First Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm with occasional overtime on Friday's. Second Shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00am with occasional overtime on Friday's. Second shift includes a $1.50/hr. shift premium. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator that is a dedicated, detail orientated and self-motivated. This position requires technical expertise in operating a Fiber Optic & C02 Laser and maintaining laser cutting equipment, along with a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in finished products. Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating laser machines, loading materials, and programming cutting parameters based on job requirements. The Laser Operator must monitor production processes, inspect finished products for defects, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance and efficiency. Brand new state of the art Laser coming to Jensen in January 2026!! Duties & Responsibilities • Operate a Fiber Optic & C02 Laser with Automation • Conduct laser material handling - Load & unload steel • Assist in part break out • Communicate Laser status to Production Planner & Supervisor • Processing internal cut orders for manufacturing and engineering departments • Work in a safe manner and enforce all safety policies • Checking parts for quality and accuracy • Assist other departments as needed • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements • Solid computer skills • Strong math skills (shop math) • Ability to use a tape measure in both metric and inches/feet • High mechanical aptitude • Competence with basic hand tools • Coordinated, with good fine motor skills and dexterity • Exceptional attention to detail • Must be highly motivated and well organized • Able to communicate and work well with others • Must be flexible to updated changes in production schedule • Perform additional duties as assigned Education and Experience • Proficiency in setting up, programming, and operating laser cutting equipment is essential. Candidates should be familiar with CAD/CAM software for programming cutting paths and adjusting cutting parameters • Ability to learn to troubleshoot issues with the laser • Ability to read blueprints • Crane and forklift experience preferred Physical Demands • Prolonged periods of standing (up to 6 hours at a time) • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, hands, fingers, legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling of materials, and operating machinery • Frequent twisting and turning • Correctable vision to 20/20 • Must be able to lift up to 10-30lbs
