Daily Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain sheet metal roofing systems, including flashing, gutters, and downspouts. • Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools, such as shears, brakes, and soldering irons. • Secure and fasten metal panels using appropriate fasteners, adhesives, and welding techniques. • Seal seams and joints to ensure watertight installations. • Work at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts while following all safety protocols. • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. • Inspect and assess roof damage and recommend necessary repairs or replacements. • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Special Position Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Physically strong, agile, and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions. • Stand for longer periods of time. • Available to work extended hours and some nights and weekends if needed.
