REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience and or skills equivalent to a qualified journey level plumber. • Ability to maintain, use, repair, install, and construct building plumbing systems, gas piping, sewer systems, plumbing fixtures, food service equipment, including soldering, brazing, sewer and drain piping snakes and rodders, and high-pressure water jet machinery. • Ability to maintain and repair natural gas systems, water systems, and sewer systems related to underground utility systems. • Ability to provide journey-level skills to maintain equipment, tools, and machinery. • Ability to read and fabricate plumbing systems from drawings and blueprints. • Knowledge of state and federal uniform plumbing codes and CAL OSHA codes. • Good written communication when interacting with members of the campus community. Good oral communication along with good interpersonal skills when interacting with members of the campus community. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Documented plumbing apprenticeship through an employer with a C-36 Plumbing Contractors License that is registered with the CSLB of California.
