Description: • Read blueprints/shop drawings and build to those drawings. • Check drawings for code requirements. • Install all rough in material per code and drawings and install per factory and QC/QA standards. • Conduct Hydro testing on completed units per QC/QA Standards. • Conduct air testing on DWV per QC/QA standards. • Trouble shoot and correct as necessary. • Keep an accurate time and materials count per project or unit. • Follow all safety requirements. Requirements: • Math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required • Experience in residential and commercial electrical installation. • Solid working knowledge of tools and materials used in the electrical trade. • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment • Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records • Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner Physical Demands: • Ability to lift/carry/pull or push up to 50 pounds • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist throughout the shift • Intermittent use of hand tools • Occasional overhead tasks This is a union job with Local 180 Carpenters union.
