Position Summary The Install Technician is responsible for performing plumbing installations on a variety of plumbing systems and equipment. Depending on experience, plumbing installers will perform repairs and/ or replace systems, (IE…fixtures, water piping, waste piping, gas piping, water heaters, tankless water heaters, filtration, pumps, ETC). Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Performing installations and/ or repairs on fixtures, water piping, waste piping, gas piping, filtration, pumps, water heaters/ tankless and DHW return systems (recirculation). • To be able to perform repairs or to replace a part. Or ultimately replacing the whole system without supervision in homes or light commercial locations In Sonoma & Marin Counties. • Providing excellent customer services to introduce or continue the customers experience while dealing with our company and our core values. • Strong understanding of how a Plumbing system or equipment should optimally work. • Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform the required repair or install. • Identify HVAC issues (ductwork concerns, equipment condition) and call in to the office to get one of our HVAC technicians scheduled out to evaluate as a referral. • Identify Electrical issues and call in to the office to get one of our electricians scheduled out to evaluate as a referral. • Educate customers on their new systems and operations of their equipment. • Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas. • Performing other work-related duties as assigned.
