Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinate, install and inspect plumbing equipment including, but not limited to, faucets, lavatories, toilets, flush valves, sinks, water heaters, drinking fountains, domestic water heaters and boilers, backflow devices, and valves. • Oversee and give constant correction and trainings to those staff, and their work, assigned to you during a project • Install underground sanitary, drainage, and water supply piping systems • Conduct the layout, assembly, and installation of pipe fixtures for water systems • Cut pipes and transport to project locations where they are required • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to required angles using measurement tools • Utilize hand tools in fitting of valves, couplings and components for tanks, pumps or other plumbing system • Dig trenches/install pipes and piping fixtures for water or sewage systems • Immerse pipes in chemical solutions such as bleach and dispersants to remove oil, dirt, and scale • Mount hangers and brackets on walls to provide support for pipes • Ensure compliance with building codes and set safety standards • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. • Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures. • Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition. • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc. • Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.\ • Liaise with contractors, and other construction workers to ensure an effective plumbing system. • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent • Valid driver's license. • Master Plumbing License • Minimum five years of verifiable plumbing experience working in plumbing service & remodel field. • Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. • Ability to write service reports. • Ability to effectively present information to supervisors and/or customer. • Knowledge of plumbing systems. • Basic mathematical abilities in all units of measure Physical Demands: • Lifting frequently.
