Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and licensed Experienced Plumbing Technician to be a foundational member of our new plumbing team. The ideal candidate is a master of their trade, capable of handling a wide range of plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision. The primary focus will be building our plumbing service, but this technician must be willing and able to support our busy HVAC team during plumbing downtime or peak HVAC seasons. Primary Plumbing Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings. • Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions. • Install and service water heaters (tank and tankless), garbage disposals, toilets, faucets, and sinks. • Perform drain cleaning and clearing services. • Repair and replace water and gas lines according to code. • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure systems are installed correctly. • Provide exceptional customer service, clearly explaining issues and solutions to homeowners. • Prepare detailed invoices and maintain accurate records of work performed. Secondary HVAC Support Responsibilities • Assist the HVAC team with service calls, seasonal tune-ups, and installations as needed. • Perform routine HVAC maintenance, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing filters. • Support HVAC lead installers with setting units, running line sets, and installing ductwork. • Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and be cross-trained on HVAC tasks to ensure steady, full-time employment. Qualifications and Requirements • Must hold a valid Plumbing License such as Journeyman or Master Plumber license. • Minimum of 3-5 years of documented professional plumbing experience. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Deep understanding of state and local plumbing codes. • Previous experience in HVAC (service, maintenance, or installation) is a significant plus. • A non-negotiable willingness to perform HVAC work and receive cross-training is required. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions. • Must be reliable, self-motivated, and have a professional appearance.
