Plumber and Plumbing Foreman

Place Services, Inc. has an immediate needs for Commercial Plumbers and Plumbing Foreman to be based out of Richmond, VA. The Commercial Plumber will be responsible for installing plumbing fixtures, pumps, and other plumbing equipment on various commercial construction projects. The Commercial Plumbing Foreman will need to relate specific instructions and direction to crew and assign specific tasks; supervise tasks and assist in layout, fabrication, and installation problems as needed. What You Bring: • 3+ years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience • 1+ years of managing and coordinating plumbing crews • Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the plumbing trade • Thorough knowledge of the prevailing codes of the plumbing trades • Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work • Ability to supervise the work of skilled and semi-skilled subordinates • Ability to analyze defects in plumbing equipment and to determine necessary repairs • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and to lay out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts • Ability to make estimates of labor and materials needed for plumbing jobs • Ability to maintain good working relationships with superiors, peers, and subordinates • Lift 75 lbs • Transfer 130 lbs. a distance of 12 feet with the help of another person • Ascend and descend ladders and other elevated structures • Work from heights from an elevated aerial device As an EEO employer, Place Services, Inc. is committed to providing all applicants and employees with equal access to employment opportunities, regardless of sex, race, age, color, national origin, disability, pregnancy, religion, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
