Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To: • Assist licensed plumbers and foremen with installation of commercial plumbing systems. • Learn proper use of power tools, plumbing materials, and equipment. • Assist with reading and interpreting construction drawings and submittals. • Support the setup of plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, and valves. • Carry and stage tools and materials for daily project work. • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite. • Follow company and jobsite safety protocols at all times. • Develop understanding of local plumbing codes and best industry practices. • Participate in training programs and mentorship with senior team members. • Perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, climbing, and moving equipment. Qualifications: • Previous experience in commercial plumbing, specifically focused on new interior tenant work • Must have a Valid Driver's License, insurable driving record and reliable transportation to job sites across DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia • Willingness to learn power tools, plumbing materials, equipment, and construction drawings. • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. • Ability to pass a background check. • Commercial construction experience is preferred but not required. • Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a positive attitude. • Willingness to work early shifts (starting as early as 4:00 AM for tie-ins), occasional nights, and Saturdays with advance notice. • Interest in progressing toward Apprenticeship Registration and Journeyman License (company will support).
