Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The Journeyperson Plumber will work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. • Perform welding as needed for pipe connections and repairs. • Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. • Execute pipe threading and assembly with precision. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently. • Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working in various environments. • Provide field service support for plumbing emergencies or repairs as required. • Assist in remodeling projects that involve plumbing installations or modifications. Qualifications • must hold P1 or P1 license. • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. • Experience with carpentry work is advantageous. • Previous construction site experience is preferred. • Valid driving license. • Must be able to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
