Job Summary IMI is seeking a full-time Pipefitter local to the Emerson GA area. Essential Functions • Layout fabricate install repair troubleshoot and maintain piping systems pipe supports fixtures and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. These systems may vary in shape size and pressure. • Accurately apply intermediate mathematical skill including addition subtraction multiplication division conversion of fractions and decimals. • Interpret blueprints specifications diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. • Thread pipe using a pipe threading machine. • Bend pipe using pipe bending tools and pipe bending machine. Education and Experience • 1 - 3 years experience • NCCER certification or completion of a related program through an accredited technical school is preferred. Work Environment / Physical Demands • Must be able to climb stoop kneel crouch crawl reach stand walk push pull lift grasp twist and bend for extended periods of time. • Use arms and hands to reach for handle or manipulate objects. • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance. • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors including times of inclement weather. • Ability to climb in overhead structures to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work. • Must be highly safety conscious and have ability to see and escape from dangerous situations • Ability to climb a ladder and step into various pieces of equipment. Sr Plumber Steamfitter - Full-time

Overview: About the Role The Sr Plumber/Steamfitter position is to take the lead in performing a variety of maintenance repairs and installation/replacement of plumbing systems and fixtures including supply systems, DWV system, plumbing, heating, and steam fixtures/equipment. Assists in the work direction of other mechanics, trades helpers and mechanics of other skilled trades. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do • Operates, maintains, repairs, and installs pipe systems, plumbing fixtures, heating fixtures, steam fixtures, regulator valves and various system elements/appliances. • Responds to plumbing trouble calls and requests within the facilities, using hand tools, pneumatic and/or hydraulic power tools, analyzing equipment and testing instruments. • Performs routine maintenance, preventive maintenance and inspections on plumbing systems equipment and related equipment/systems. • Installs, repairs and/or maintains water, gas, oil, waste disposal and high-pressure steam and high-temperature hot water. • Prepares, maintains, and submits to the Supervisor, Maintenance and Construction requisitions for material, work orders, required records and reports relating to plumbing equipment/systems. Qualifications: What You’ll Bring Required • Technical school diploma or an equivalent level of knowledge plus six (6) years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and • installation of plumbing systems/equipment, in an educational, industrial or health care setting. Sound knowledge of blueprint and schematic reading is required, as is through knowledge of all applicable (local, state, and national) codes. • Attention to detail and strong communication skills. Must be able to work overtime Preferred • New Jersey Black Seal Engineer’s License is preferred.
