Responsibilities • Perform residential site rough-in plumbing for new build construction. , • Cut, thread, or hammer pipes using various power and hand tools. , • Measure and mark pipes for cutting or threading. , • Cut or bore holes in structures as needed. , • Draw layouts to scale while studying blueprints and following relevant codes. , • Inspect, examine, or test installed systems or pipelines to troubleshoot problems. Requirements • Maintain a current/active valid Connecticut P1 or P2 License and/or Connecticut Licensed S1 or S2 OSHA certification issued in the last 5 years, or a willingness to obtain it. , • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the commercial construction industry preferred. , • References to verify professional skills and experience are required. , • Deep understanding of state and local building codes is essential. , • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day. , • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. , • Prior experience in both commercial and residential plumbing preferred. , • Experience using a basic pipefitter's toolbox. Nice-to-haves • Experience in HVAC systems installation and maintenance. , • Knowledge of advanced plumbing techniques and technologies.
