Plumber​/Steamfitter

Position: Plumber/Steamfitter I Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Plumber/Steamfitter I position is to perform a variety of maintenance repairs and installation/replacement of plumbing systems and fixtures including: supply systems, DWV system, plumbing, heating and steam fixtures/equipment. Assists in the work direction of other mechanics, trades helpers and mechanics of other skilled trades. Qualifications Technical school diploma or an equivalent level of knowledge plus five (5) years of experience in the operation, maintenance and installation of plumbing systems/equipment, in an educational, industrial or health care setting. Sound knowledge of blue print and schematic reading is required, as is through knowledge of all applicable (local, state and national) codes. New Jersey Black Seal Engineer’s License is preferred.
