HVAC Pipefitting Foreman

Candidates should also be comfortable working with little supervision and possess a strong work ethic and team mindset Requirements and Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of Commercial Pipefitter field experience (We are not seeking entry-level applications with only schooling experience or those with residential experience only) • Grooved Piping • Threaded Piping • Copper Piping (Sweat, Pro-Press, Brazed) • PVC Piping • Black Pipe Piping • Welded Pipe - experience is a plus • Refrigerant piping (brazing) - experience is a plus • Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants is a plus (Universal or Type I & Type II, 410A) • High School diploma or GED equivalent • Knowledge of hand cutting tools, electric saws, and electrical and gas equipment. • Safety-minded and knowledge of OSHA & NFPA safety regulations. • Current valid driver’s license for operating motor vehicles in the state of New Jersey • Must be punctual, dependable and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations • Must be available for seasonal overtime during the summer and winter months • Must have professional appearance, basic writing and computer skills, customer service skills • Must have strong installation skills with ability to think outside of the box • Experience with commercial HVAC/R is a plus: • Split Systems, Package Units, Ductless Systems, Heat Pumps, Cooling Towers, Boilers, PTAC units, VAV’s, Chillers, etc. • Candidate should reside in the NJ area to be considered Duties and Responsibilities: • Travel to project locations, often multiple daily, as required • Install HVAC/R equipment to ensure proper operation in accordance with established procedures and according to code. • Perform other duties as required to maintain equipment and follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures. • Maintain all site locations for safety and cleanliness before, during and after services are provided. Working Conditions: Pushing, pulling, and lifting various types of equipment. Walking, standing, and stooping for extended periods of time. Climbing and working from ladders and staging while carrying equipment that may weigh up to 75 lbs. Working at difficult angles to perform repairs. Working in all types of weather conditions. May be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, lubricants, and chemicals during the course of work.
