Job Responsibilities: ● As a member of a 2 to 4 person crew of process pipefitters, be responsible for the lay-out, assembly, and installation of a variety of metal and non-metal pipes, tubes and fittings, including iron, steel, copper and plastic and secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps and hangars using hand and power tools and welding equipment. ● Measure and cut pipes using saws, pipe cutter, and cutting torch; Thread pipe, using pipe threading machine ● Connect pipes, using threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused, cemented and welded joints ● Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing and observation.
