Pipefitter

We are seeking a highly experienced Pipefitter to join a stable manufacturing company in Greenville, SC. This role is best suited for a professional who can step in immediately with proven expertise in pipefitting, welding, and equipment assembly. The role involves fitting and welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipe, as well as assembling skids and related systems. Most projects will be completed in-house, but there will be occasional day or overnight travel to customer sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience fitting and welding pipe, assembling piping systems, and working with pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and instrumentation. Reliability, safety, and a demonstrated history of long-term commitment in prior roles are essential. Pipefitter Foreman

JDI Industrial Services is the industrial maintenance division of J. JDI Industrial Services is now seeking a Foreman, this role is field based manager and representative of the company that is hands on and leads crew members to complete projects successfully, on schedule and within budget. Job Duties & Responsibilities: • Review project scope, schedule and crew roster with Project Manager / General Superintendent • Responsible for ensuring project work order is complete and detailed • Makes requests for any specialty tools from the tool crib • Requests any necessary documents or drawings from Project Manager / General Superintendent prior to job starting • Review project scope, schedule, material needs and crew roster with crew members prior to work being performed • Ensure completion of Job Site Analysis (JSA) prior to start of work, daily • Manage schedule, production and quality of project • Ensure Total Quality Management plan is being followed and documented • Submit daily reports to Project Manager / General Superintendent, daily • Communicate with Project Manager / General Superintendent daily and ensure any future material, equipment, etc. are available for the project • Interfaces with client when necessary and document information and communicate to Project Manager / General Superintendent • Participate in final walk through with client • Document and manage completion of any punch list items • Participates in project close out meetings • Ensure crew time is submitted and is accurate daily • Allocates craft labor and resources to ensure execution of the work plan • Supervise the use of machinery and equipment • Resolves crew member disputes and consults leadership on disciplinary action • Properly use and neatly maintain all company owned equipment and vehicles • Manage, document and report any crew safety or disciplinary issues • Ensures adherence to JDI quality control program • Ensures adherence to JDI and client safety programs to prevent potential injuries or accidents Skills and Qualifications: • Broad knowledge of Industrial Mechanical means and methods • Millwright experience in a heavy industrial environment • Rigging or piping experience is a plus • Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge and skill to perform all essential functions of craft workers under his/her supervision. • Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications • Word, Excel, Outlook, Project • Good leadership skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills that align with core values • 5+ years’ experience in an industrial setting.
