Pipeliner

Loenbro is looking for experienced, skilled pipeliners to join our growing team. Job Duties • Controls and minimizes repair expenses through preventative maintenance plans and procedures. • Configure pipe systems blueprint and plan piping systems layouts • Ensure all steam, water, chemicals, or other liquids are turned off before working on piping system • Perform trial runs and tests on pipe systems • Repair and reinforce broken, cracked, or inadequate systems or pipes • Reports any unsafe condition or situation. • Recognizes deviations in operations and takes appropriate action to correct it. • May be required to read and interpret drawings and schematics. • Uses hand power tools and other equipment. • Performs valve and valve operator maintenance tasks. Skills/Qualifications • One year experience as a pipeliner • High school degree or equivalent educational experience • Accurate and precise attention to detail • Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations with regard to piping systems Potential Hazards • Outside the majority of the time • Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures • Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment • Limited working surfaces • Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors • Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights) • Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time on a monthly basis for required tasks • If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
