Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Collaborate with HVAC Foreperson and project team to ensure material and equipment needs are identified and scheduled prior to start of actual work. • Read and interpret construction drawings, project specifications, and equipment submittals. • Utilize construction plans to layout and install HVAC equipment and supports. • Lay-out, fabricate, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related domestic water, hydronic and pneumatic system. Systems will vary in complexity, size, and pressure rating. • Lay-out, fabricate, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain ductwork for ventilation applications. These systems will vary in complexity, size, and rating. • Must be able to work well with others and be able to take direction. • Train apprentices in work-related areas to enhance installation knowledge, productivity, and safety. • Strong organizational and planning skills; Able to effectively allocate and develop resources. • Reliable, self-motivated, and professional. • Maintain safe work environment by complying with safety policies and procedures. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be physically capable of walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, kneeling, crouching, handling, reaching, depth perception, field of vision, balancing, hearing, and talking.
