Travel costs are paid by the company. Ideal Qualifications: • Past experience in construction. • Capability to work in a physically demanding environment. • Willingness to travel around the state of Iowa as needed, as well as work approximately 50 hours per week. • Ability to operate construction hand tools and other specialized equipment safely and effectively. • Valid drivers license. • Class A or B commercial drivers license is a plus. Safety Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our safety programs within the construction environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, managing risks, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate safety protocols to all team members. Duties • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards and NEC regulations. • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Provide training and resources to employees on occupational health, risk management, and safe work practices. • Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into construction management processes. • Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports that outline findings and recommendations for improvement. • Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure proper documentation is maintained for all incidents. • Stay updated on industry trends in compliance management and occupational health to enhance safety practices. Skills • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and NEC standards related to construction sites. • Strong knowledge of steel erection practices. • Proficient in risk management techniques and construction management software. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to train others effectively. • Strong analytical skills for identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions. • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams while fostering a culture of safety awareness. • Experience in managing workers' compensation processes and understanding occupational health principles. • Must have OSHA 510 Join our team as a Safety Manager where you can make a significant impact on the well-being of our workforce while ensuring compliance with industry standards!
