Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. As a Brick Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision. Responsibilities: - Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials to construct or repair walls, arches, chimneys, and other structures - Align bricks or blocks according to project requirements using plumb lines, levels, or other tools - Measure and cut bricks, blocks or other materials to fit specific dimensions using hand or power tools - Maintain and clean tools and equipment used in masonry work - Repair or replace damaged bricks or blocks - Apply weatherproofing and finishing layers to masonry surfaces - Work with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and according to quality standards and specifications - Provide guidance and training to apprentices or less experienced workers Requirements: - Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials - Proficient in using power tools such as saws, drills, and grinders - Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity - Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions - Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Recommended but not required: - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans If you have the skills and experience required for this position, we invite you to apply.
