We are looking for the right people to join our team in various construction trades: Carpenters, Steel Workers, Framing, Drywall, and Concrete Finishers. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of experience but consideration would be given to those that have less experience. The ideal candidate is someone who is Reliable and has a strong desire to Learn. They must show a commitment to working Safely at all times while producing Quality work. The candidate must also be able to work closely with a wide variety of Peters employees, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Job tasks will vary based on each project and the stage that each project is in at the time as well as the skills and experience of the employee. Responsibilities of our Skilled Construction Craftspeople may include (but are not limited to) some or all of the following tasks: • Metal and wood framing. • Drywall. • Steel erection. • Installing doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, and accessories. • Concrete work. • Operate a variety of construction equipment (fork lifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.) • Operate a variety of hand and power tools. • Demolition and disposal of existing structures. • General cleaning and housekeeping.
