POSITION SUMMARY The asphalt plant operator will repair and maintain the electrical and mechanical components of a hot mix asphalt plant as well as operate the plant to produce hot mix asphalt. This position reports to the asphalt plant foreperson and is an essential part of the asphalt plant team to ensure providing the highest quality hot mix asphalt to our customers. On the job training will provide opportunities to increase knowledge and skills to grow professionally and be valued team member. This position is a full-time seasonal, working April through November (weather permitting). This position requires working overtime and some Saturdays. Local and regional travel opportunities are available.
