Incumbent will be responsible for the oversight of the facilities Safety and Adaptive Equipment programs and is responsible for ensuring flawless integration and day-to-day management of the program functions and associated operations to establish a safe and secure environment for the patients/clients/residents and employees of the facility and the surrounding communities. How does it get done? Incumbents primary duties include coordinating compliance, quality and performance activities related to patient safety and environment of care issues. Who are the customers? Patients/Residents/Clients/Staff Ideal Candidate Ideal candidate will have: Experience with a safe & secure environment; Experience in coordinating compliance; Experience implementing policies, procedures, and competencies; Experience in compliance with State, Federal and The Joint Commission standards. Minimum Qualification Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in investigations, regulation, policy, statutory, and/or contract compliance. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Working Conditions Work is usually performed in an office setting, with extensive exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), personal computer, printer, calculator, copy machine, scanner, and telephone usage.
