Hold and inspect tolerances of less than one thousandth of an inch at times based on component requirements. Use both metric and inch prints to machine complex components. Must have exceptional attention to detail and good work ethic-ability to devise unconventional part holding methods. Required Skills: • Must have a minimum of 5 years in Machine skill trade work. • Set up and operate machines • Must be able to produce both simple and complex parts to prints on manual lathes and manual mills, CNC lathes, CNC mills, sanders, grinders, etc • Utilize precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and optical comparators to ensure tight tolerances and part accuracy • Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints, including GD&T • Ability to work in a team environment. • Must be able to work effectively within a team environment. • Must be dependable and capable of maintaining an exceptional attendance record. • Performs other duties as assigned Desired Skills/Experience: • CNC programming experience • Prior forklift operation Education: • High school diploma or equivalent is required. • Additional training from a vocational or trade school is a plus.
