Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail to ensure that all products meet stringent specifications and quality standards. Duties • Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, according to engineering specifications. • Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to verify dimensions of machined parts. • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints, applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles as necessary. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. • Program CNC machines using CAM programming software; familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls is preferred. • Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes. • Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating power tools and machinery. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with company policies. Experience • 5 years setting up, operating, and programming CNC mills and lathes for precision MFG. • G-code programming, blueprint reading, and GD&T, ensuring tolerances and quality standards. • Experienced with Haas, Fanuc, and Siemens controls, optimizing production efficiency. • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment is essential. • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various machining tools and equipment. • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not required. • Proficient in reading technical documents, blueprints, and schematics. • Experience with GD&T practices is highly desirable. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
