Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Responsibilities: · Turn-on, load and run paperboard packaging equipment including Emmeci, Europrogetti and Kolbus wrappers and casemakers, according to job specifications and work orders. · Adjust machine settings and components to optimize function and ensure adherence to quality standards, production schedules, and safety protocols. · Conduct daily routine maintenance and cleaning of machines, including cleaning belts, glue rollers and picks, lubricating parts, filling and cleaning glue tanks, etc. · Troubleshoot machinery issues, such as jams, misfeeds, or malfunctions, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain optimal machine performance; alert Set-Up Mechanics and Maintenance Mechanics when issues persist or are beyond your technical scope. · Collaborate with Supervisors and Team Leads to optimize machine speeds, minimize waste, and improve production efficiency. · Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards. · Accurately record production data, including machine performance, downtime, and materials usage. · Follow safety regulations and keep a clean and organized work area.
