Responsibilities: Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): · Set-up die cutting machinery according to job specifications and work orders. o Evaluate and prepare dies prior to production run. o Install dies, adjust machine settings, and align components for different product runs. · Perform changeovers and necessary adjustments. · Operate, monitor and control machine during production to adhere to quality standards, production schedules, and safety protocols. · Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines, including lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and performing minor repairs as needed. · Troubleshoot machinery issues, such as jams, misfeeds, or malfunctions, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain optimal machine performance. · Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine settings, minimize waste, and improve production efficiency. · Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards. · Accurately record production data, including machine performance, downtime, and materials usage. · Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications & Requirements · High school diploma or equivalent. · 2+ years working with machines, ideally in a manufacturing setting. · Previous experience in printing or die cutting, or experience with machine change overs preferred but not necessary. · Excellent attention to detail and comprehension of Quality specifications. · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues quickly. · Strong verbal communication skills · Ability to work effectively within a team environment. · Must be able to lift 50lbs. · Able to stand for duration of shift.
