CNC Machine Operator

Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong motivation, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Location: Hermansville, MI Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 per Hour - details below Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift. 3PM-11PM EST or 11PM-7AM EST What's the Job? • Review setup sheets and specifications to determine procedures and machining sequence. • Operate CNC machines to cut, shape, or form metal workpieces to specifications. • Assemble precision components using jigs, fixtures, and hydraulic presses. • Inspect workpieces for quality using prints and gauges. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing, packing, and marking materials for shipment. What's Needed? • Temp to Possible Hire Position, Full Time. • 2nd or 3rd shift. 3PM-11PM EST or 11PM-7AM EST, training will likely be on 1st shift. • Operators without experience or skills start at $18.00/hr. + $1/hr. shift premium. After 90 working days they earn another $1/hr. • Ability to read blueprints (preferred). • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide decimals, whole numbers, and fractions. • Strong motivation and ability to work independently. • Good communication skills. Ability to read procedures, work instructions, and process routings. Field Service Tech Qualified employee would be a liaison between NMR and its customers. On-site manual machining, welding, maintenance. Must be able to work unsupervised and have excellent customer service skills.
