About the position The Commercial HVAC/R Technician at Tech24 is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to excellent customer service. The technician will operate a company vehicle to travel to customer sites and ensure the safe operation of equipment while adhering to company policies and procedures. Responsibilities • Troubleshoots and repairs commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. , • Inspects the commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation. , • Communicates with customers and branch staff regarding the status of repairs to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated. , • Completes service tickets according to procedures. , • Tracks truck stock to ensure needed parts are stocked on the vehicle. , • Sustains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards. , • Sets a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a Company advocate. , • Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety.
