Job Title: Commercial HVAC Sales Representative 📍 Location: Bowling Green, Louisville, or Richmond, KY (Travel required across Central Kentucky) 💲 Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 base + commission (DOE) About the Role: We are seeking a go-getter Commercial HVAC Sales Representative with deep experience in construction bidding, preventive maintenance contracts, and hands-on involvement with commercial HVAC projects. This individual will be responsible for generating sales opportunities, preparing accurate estimates, and working closely with both operations and customers to deliver tailored HVAC solutions. You’ll split your time between the office and the field, regularly traveling to job sites across Kentucky. Key Responsibilities: 🔍 Sales & Business Development • Generate new business through lead generation, networking, and cold calling • Sell HVAC service agreements, PM contracts, and repair/retrofit work to commercial clients • Develop long-term relationships with contractors, developers, and facility managers 📝 Estimating & Bidding • Perform detailed site visits and HVAC system evaluations • Prepare estimates for construction-based HVAC projects, service contracts, and retrofits • Respond to RFPs and lead the bid process for new opportunities 🏗️ Construction & Field Coordination • Collaborate with construction and service teams to scope new jobs • Oversee transitions from bid to execution, ensuring project requirements are met • Maintain regular presence on job sites to verify scope, customer satisfaction, and resolve issues 📊 Account Management & Follow-up • Track project milestones, update CRM data, and maintain pipeline reports • Follow up on outstanding quotes and proposals to ensure steady booking volume • Ensure customer satisfaction and identify future service opportunities What We’re Looking For: • 5+ years’ experience in commercial HVAC sales, estimating, or project coordination • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including chillers, RTUs, and controls • Familiarity with both new construction and preventive maintenance environments • Proficiency in job costing, estimating software, and Excel • Ability to travel regularly to sites in and around Bowling Green, Louisville, and Richmond, KY • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a hunter mindset • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Benefits & Perks: • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission • Company vehicle or allowance + gas card • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) with company contribution • Paid vacation and holidays • Career advancement within a growing commercial service provider
