ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Install equipment, by project requirements and under the direction of the Lead Installer: • HVAC: air handler drains, piping for split systems, overhead duct hangers and ductwork, etc. • Refrigeration: display case drains, walk-in box drains, overhead hangers, and piping, etc. • Perform all assigned work safely and responsibly. Use power and hand tools, powered vehicles, machinery, and PPE as directed and required by Source, customer, and contract policy. • Escalate problems and concerns (safety, quality of work, etc.) to on-site Lead Installer or project managers promptly. • Always maintain clean and professional job sites/work areas. Properly store, disassemble, or remove all spare and waste materials created on assigned job sites. • Provide assistance and support to senior technician/s on a job. • Carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner. • Installation of all types of piping including PVC, copper (brazing), copper line sets • Perform any other duty that may be directed by management. QUALIFICATIONS • Mechanical aptitude • Good customer relations and interpersonal skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills • A “self-starter” attitude and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner • Great oral and written communication skills • Ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision • Responsible for the daily preparation of the parts and tools for each day’s activities • Valid Driver License • Ability to Pass a drug screen and/or background check • Ability to write and read English language • Strong ability to operate under all weather conditions • Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, and/or kneel continually EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma
