What You Need to Succeed in this Role High school diploma or GED plus four years of work experience in equipment repair, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical. Two years of vocational school may substitute for two years of experience. Comparable combination of education and experience may be considered. Technical training and considerable experience with HVAC equipment. Possession of a valid driver's license and must maintain a safe driving record with Minnehaha County. Must successfully complete and pass pre-employment background process. Must be available for rotating on-call shifts and remain accessible, professional, and substance-free during those times. Requires strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; ability to read blueprints; and familiarity with codes and safety regulations. Experience with mapping tools and statistical software is a plus. Must work independently and communicate effectively.
