Other information: EDUCATION: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and a graduate of an accredited course of studies in the heating/air-conditioning field. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE: Must have two (2) years’ experience in the heating/air conditioning/refrigeration field. At least one years’ experience with air handling equipment is preferred. CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, BONDING: Must be certified by the Environmental Protection Agency to reclaim Freon and other regulated substances. PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Occasionally works in temperatures ranging from below zero to 140oF. For extended periods, must routinely bend, stoop, squat, lift and manipulate, push, pull, stand, walk, climb and use hand and power tools. May be exposed to various stored energy, some of which could be lethal, such as electrical, mechanical, steam and air. Is sometimes exposed to hazards such as chemicals, acids and gases with protective measures provided. Occasionally will work in a noisy environment. This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
