Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. • Perform all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books. • Conduct walk-through inspections; changes belts, filters, adjusts volume dampers, checks gauges, coils, drain lines, bleeds gas lines, resets compressors, check unit sensors, relocates ductwork and troubleshoots to locate sources and cause of malfunction. • Assist with estimating parts, supplies, equipment and labor hours needed to complete assigned repairs and monitors computer for malfunctions. • Maintain quality of air, air flow and temperature at on and off-site facilities; adjusts valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through system. • Record gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment. Maintain technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate. • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations. • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations. • Perform other duties as assigned. Lead HVAC Service Technician

JOB SUMMARY: At Gallo Mechanical Services, we take pride in delivering top-notch service to our customers and are looking for dedicated team players who share our commitment to exceeding customer expectations. As a Lead HVAC Service Technician, you will be a key mentor to other team members, helping them expand their HVAC knowledge and skills to enhance the strength of the team overall. In this role, the Lead HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for providing service, installation, and maintenance to customers with a wide range of commercial clients. Your tasks will include installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in commercial settings — ranging from new facility setups to retrofitting existing facilities. The Lead Technician will also perform both scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests, which may include equipment replacements or modifications as requested by customers. RESPONSIBILITES: • Uphold Gallo Mechanical Services and customer safety standards and ensure compliance on all job sites. Provide safety leadership, guidance and training to Technicians and subcontractors. • Perform Service Calls, PM Services and Project Work as required. • On Call per the branch on call rotation. • Mentor and support Technicians within the branch. Provide on-the-job training and guidance for other technicians on technical issues. • Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide effective solutions or guidance on resolution. • Act as the primary escalation contact from the branch to the technical resources at headquarters and/or OEMs for critical issues. Recognized as an expert by both clients and team members. • Support management in enforcing operational and quality standards in the field. Conduct field quality checks to ensure adherence to best practices. • Contribute valuable input on the development and training needs of the team. • Assist in developing quotes and estimates for work identified by Technicians and submit to Customers, the Service Manager and/or Service Coordinator, as appropriate • Assist with the identification of material needs required for service delivery. • Collaborate with the Service Manager or Service Coordinator to identify and schedule technicians with the appropriate skills and knowledge to perform repairs or installations. • Maintain clear communication with customers upon arrival and before leaving the job site. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns. Regularly engage with clients to understand operational challenges, and keep customer informed on the nature of the service provided, outstanding issues, and recommends system enhancements, upgrades and/or repairs. • Manage work assignments to ensure timely, professional execution, and meet customer satisfaction expectations. • Provide consultant level services for customers related to building and system repairs and enhancements. • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery. • Commit to continuous self-improvement through self-study, research, and practice to maintain technical proficiency. IDEAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: • A High School Diploma or equivalent. • 3+ years of experience in HVAC service or equivalent combination of education (Technical School) and experience. • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and installations, with experience working with various types of commercial HVAC equipment • Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and complex technical issues. • Possess excellent coaching and training skills. • Proficient computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to navigate other business applications as well as smartphones and iPads. • This position may be working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage). • This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 pounds. • EPA Certification Preferred.
