HVAC Technician

Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World The HVAC Technician Will complete for installation and repair of all HVAC equipment related operation and maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair and installation. • Will report to the Site's Operations & Maintenance Supervisor. • Will operate, maintain and repair site HVAC systems including air-cooled chillers, Direct Exchange units, air handling units, filters and Chemical Biological filters, ductwork, dampers, actuators, fans, cold water lines, heating and cooling units, fan coil units, electric reheats, diffusers, vents, VAV boxes, exhaust fans, supply fans, smoke exhaust fans, fresh air ducts, control valves, cooling coils and ventilation systems for laundry rooms, kitchens and rest rooms. • Manage tools and inventory to ensure proper accountability and adequate supply levels to meet routine operational needs and reasonable surges and non-routine requests - Completes quantitative and qualitative reports. • Responsible for mounting compressors, condenser units and air handling units, following blueprints, engineering specifications and manufacturer's recommendations. • Responsible for facility custodianship of work area and management of tools, equipment and spare parts for the HVAC operation • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Minimum Requirements • Ability to Obtain and Maintain a TS SCI security clearance. • 5 year's experience in HVAC trade • Willingness to perform other duties outside the HVAC trade. • Computer knowledge to navigate online training, time keeping and email.
