Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work on a variety of construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. The Carpenter will play a critical role in building, restoring, and finishing structures while ensuring that all work meets safety standards and client specifications. Duties • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. • Restore and finish surfaces including stucco, plaster, and siding to enhance the aesthetic appeal of buildings. • Perform metal stud framing for interior walls and partitions. • Lay tile for flooring or wall applications with precision and care. • Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and square according to project specifications. • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. • Interpret schematics and blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools. • Experience with stucco restoration, metal stud framing, construction painting, siding installation, tile laying, and plastering is preferred. • Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed. • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
