Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Renovation Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various aspects of construction and renovation, demonstrating proficiency in residential projects. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing renovation tasks, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to project timelines. The Renovation Contractor will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Duties • Manage and execute renovation projects, including but not limited to remodeling, restoration, and construction tasks. • Perform various carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks including hanging drywall, caulking, siding installation, roofing, and flooring installation. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites while performing heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. • Collaborate with subcontractors and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of the project. Requirements • Proven experience in the renovation industry or related fields. • Proficiency in various skills including carpentry, construction painting, stud framing, flooring installation, electrical experience, plumbing, and tile laying. • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks consistently. • Previous experience on construction sites is essential; maintenance person experience is a plus. • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and clients.
