Construction Project Cost Analyst

As a Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in reviewing project plans and specifications, preparing quantity takeoffs and pricing all aspects of the project. Your expertise will be utilized to quantify and analyze construction documents, estimate overhead components, and perform system trade-off comparisons. Key Responsibilities: • Review project plans and specifications, prepare quantity takeoffs and price all aspects of the project. • Manage and organize the overall bid and proposal process. • Read, quantify and analyze construction documents across multiple trade disciplines, including estimating overhead components. • Use various system unit pricing across multiple trade disciplines using current and historical market unit pricing. • Perform system trade-off comparisons on a macro scale (structural systems, mechanical systems, foundations, etc). • Conduct conceptual estimates with limited design quickly, understanding the level of detail appropriate for different stakeholders.
