Carpenters & Installers (Birmingham, AL)

ExpoDisplays, Method-1 Interiors, and Warner Museums designs, builds, and installs some of the coolest custom trade show exhibits, museums, and commercial interiors in the Southeast. Google us up and check out our websites to see for yourself. We are currently experiencing a surge in our business and are looking for several carpenters and installers to join our team. Our carpenters take parts that have been cut out on our CNC machine and assemble them into finished structures. Most of the things we build get covered in Formica type laminate for durability. We then stage the custom elements in our setup area for final inspection before packing them up to be shipped to the site for installation. Everything we build is custom and one-off, so no mundane same-thing-day-in-and-day-out assembly line work. Installers take the custom millwork we design and fabricate and install them at our customers' facilities. Most of our projects are within a day's drive of Birmingham and many of them are local. There is a lot of travel required for installers, but we try our best to get you home for the weekends. Also, we rotate who has to travel overnight and who gets to work on local jobs, so you're not always on the road if you don't want to be. Our 140,000 square foot facility is conveniently located in East Birmingham near Trussville. Our custom production team works 5 day, 40-hour workweeks in an indoor facility with the option for overtime when things get really busy (like they are now!) We offer BlueCross BlueShield insurance with optional vision and dental coverage, a 401K, and a liberal PTO program. We're a big enough company to have the resources to get the work done but small enough that we still treat everyone like family and enjoy working together to create really cool things. We are looking to add several carpenters and installers at all levels of experience to our custom production team. We have a great teamwork environment where everyone mentors and trains each other. If you are good with your hands and want to work in a dynamic, creative, and collaborative environment, please fill out an application and we'll see where it leads. Thank you. Department: Production This is a non-management position
