Responsibilities • Accurately take off material quantities for projects. , • Build square, level, and plumb specific project tasks using basic carpentry tools. , • Construct safety provisions such as scaffolding, gang ladders, and fall protection. , • Install interior finish items including wall protection, doors, hardware, and toilet accessories. , • Safely use various carpentry tools such as saws and drills. , • Identify and request necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) before starting tasks. , • Operate basic equipment like forklifts and skid steers as needed. , • Cut and install interior/exterior wood and metal backing as required. Requirements • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred. , • Minimum of 2 years' experience in carpentry required, including hanging and taping. , • Previous experience in hospital construction preferred. , • 2-5 years' experience installing building specialties, cabinets, windows, countertops, and commercial doors, frames, and hardware. , • NCCER Training/Certification preferred. , • Ability to read construction documents and execute tasks based on those documents.
