We are searching for a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to facilitate the successful execution of large-scale wind projects across the United States. As a key on-site member, you will collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, and senior leaders to ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will be instrumental in day-to-day operations, monitoring progress, and addressing challenges in real time, all while gaining comprehensive insight into the project lifecycle from pre-construction to close-out. Location & Travel Details: This is a traveling position requiring up to 100% on-site presence at project locations throughout the U.S. You may be assigned to a project site in any state. Typically, you will spend 8 to 16 months on each project, and we provide a designated daily per diem to help with living expenses, along with a vehicle allowance. Responsibilities: • Coordinate engineering studies and change order requests. • Collaborate with engineers and regional managers on project status. • Facilitate communication with clients regarding specifications during the planning stages. • Create and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and job cost control. • Oversee job costs and predict monthly revenue streams. • Conduct quality assurance and quality control on projects. • Resolve contract disputes and maintain prime contracts with owners or clients. • Establish billing procedures and initiate monthly progress payments. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Solar or EPC construction, with a solid understanding of construction techniques and management. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Commitment to health and safety principles. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to interpret technical documents. • Effective communication and presentation skills. • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
