Job Summary We are seeking an experienced VP of Origination to join our company. The primary focus of this role is to secure agreements that ensure the viability of our renewable assets both in development and in operation. This position negotiates and executes complex structured transactions primarily related to renewable fuels, with a particular emphasis on new products, customers, and/or regions. Role and Responsibilities: • Lead and direct the Origination team's external presence, representing the company to potential customers, and collaborating with all members of our team to define and act in the company's interest. • Translate company financial, commercial, technical, and operational goals into effective contracting strategies and targets, and ensure Origination activities are aligned with broader strategic initiatives across the organization. • Build and maintain external relationships with key stakeholders, including large utility and corporate counterparties, brokers, government entities, and others that can drive discovery of key market terms and conditions. • Analyze and develop different structures for the customer, including risk mitigation solutions to ensure risks are appropriately managed and quantified. • Assemble and lead internal cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams through solicitation and negotiation processes. • Oversee the internal development of key project revenue agreements. Provide overall leadership and drive key decisions during negotiations. • Innovate strategies and tactics to identify, structure, and close deals that increase the company's value globally across markets and technologies. • Manage and grow the Origination team. • Enhance the company's brand recognition. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Renewable Energy Solar Development Director - Central Region

Renewable Energy Solar Development Director - Central Region Location : Durham, NC (or Remote) Ecoplexus Inc. (www.ecoplexus.com) is a rapidly growing renewable energy developer and independent power producer (IPP), targeting the utility scale renewable energy and energy storage markets. Headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in North Carolina, Dallas, Mexico City, Seoul, Tokyo, and Ho Chi Minh. Ecoplexus has grown at an annual rate of over 50% per year since its founding in 2009 and expects to complete approximately $500 million of projects over the next two years. The Company has developed, built, and operates over 80 projects in the U.S. and Japan, and has a substantial development pipeline of solar, wind and energy storage assets in North America and Asia. We are seeking a talented self-starter, who is highly motivated and capable of assuming increasing responsibility in a dynamic growth environment. POSITION Lead the Company's project development activities in the U.S. Central region (focusing on ERCOT, MISO, and SPP market areas), working closely with senior management. This position will help coordinate interconnection, permitting, real estate, GIS, finance, origination, and engineering teams to achieve project and company goals. The position reports to the SVP, US Development & Origination. Duties and responsibilities include : • Management of regional project development activities including site acquisition, permitting and entitlement work, interconnection and transmission planning work, and revenue contract origination. • Recommend a portfolio investment strategy for the region for solar, wind and energy storage projects. Develop project and portfolio level budges and timelines. • Oversee one or more dedicated junior developers. Manage a team of internal matrixed subject matter experts and / or outside consultants to deliver projects on time and on budget. • In coordination with an Origination team, participate in or lead sales and marketing activities for utility and non-utility offtakers and programs. Coordinate Company responses to utility and other entity requests for proposals. • Identify prospects for mergers and acquisitions and assist in diligence activities. Lead or participate in acquisition, joint development, divestiture, power purchase and other agreement negotiations. • Negotiate consulting agreements and manage consultants. • Assist in creation and maintenance of project reporting and management processes to optimize development spend and risk reduction across project portfolio. • Support Executive and Finance Teams during investor due diligence process • Provide regular updates to and Interact with the Executive Team and promptly raise concerns w hen they become apparent. • P rovide a smooth transition to the Ecoplexus operations team as projects progress to construction. Provide post-development support to the Ecoplexus operations team as necessary. • Employee may be provided with additional responsibilities based on mutual agreement of both the Employee and Company. REQUIREMENTS 6+ years; experience with wind, solar, or thermal energy development required. Experience in the U.S. Central region is preferred. BA / MBA / JD - finance, law, or energy business related preferred. Proven experience in successfully developing and bringing online large scale solar, wind, and / or energy storage projects in the United States is required. Summary: The Sr. Accountant - Services will oversee the accounting and finance responsibilities for the Asset Management segment of the Services business, providing financial support for a portfolio of third party owned wind, solar, and battery storage assets managed by RES in the United States and Canada. This position will be a partner to the finance and operations teams within the support services business, regularly collaborating with asset owners and various departments within RES. Requirements: + Manages the accounting and finance processes and deliverables specified under asset management contracts with third-party owned renewable energy (wind, solar, and battery storage) projects. This includes journal entry preparation and review, AP/AR Transactions, financial modeling and reporting, reconciliation preparation and review, lender compliance, and other financial deliverables and analysis required under asset management contracts. + Prepares and reviews RES internal management reporting designed to communicate the monthly financial results of the Asset Management segment of the Support Services business internally and to external owners. + Interfaces with project owners to build strong customer relations and customer loyalty. + Prepares policy and transactional accounting memos through application of technical guidance. + Prepares and reviews customer invoices and participates in the revenue collection process. + Monitors cash needs of the business and works with finance/treasury to manage cash flows. + Collaborates with the Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Legal departments to ensure proper compliance with contracts, detailed evaluation of financial results, and accurate budgeting and forecasting. + Participates in process improvement including standardization, automation, and improved efficiency of financial reporting and related processes. + Performs other financial responsibilities as required by a growing business segment. + Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected. + Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures. + Present, support, and lead-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude. + Oversees continuous improvement processes. + Assists with system implementations and maintenance of data integrity. + Completes projects as presented by the SVP of Support Services and Director of Accounting, Support Services.
