Job Description: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our generating plant operations team. As a Power Plant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our plant, ensuring that generating requirements and plant efficiency are maintained. You will provide leadership to the operations group, directing daily generating equipment operation under the general direction of the Assistant Plant Manager. Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and managing consistent plant operating philosophies and best practices to maximize plant availability, efficiency, and productivity. You will also manage safety and environmental compliance and reporting to federal, state, and local government authorities. Additionally, you will investigate operating abnormalities and incidents to improve equipment availability and performance, and prepare necessary plant operation reports in a timely manner.
