Rope Partner has an immediate need for experienced wind turbine rope access and non rope blade repair technicians that are looking to become senior fiberglass technicians with the company. • 3+ years of wind turbine composite blade repair experience. (2+ considered) • SPRAT Level 3 supervisor certification. Applicants holding IRATA certification or lower levels of SPRAT certification with strong backgrounds in composite blade repair are still encouraged to apply • Proven ability to work safely. Senior Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer

Position Overview This role will contribute electrical engineering expertise, renewable energy experience, and team leadership toward the study, design, and development of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale electrical infrastructure projects. A Professional Engineering license (electrical) and solid experience with solar PV, BESS, or other renewable energy systems design is required. We are looking for a talented, experienced, and licensed Electrical Engineer to contract with our dynamic team. This role can be pivotal as we scale up in a high-growth market, offering the opportunity to be an early contributor in a startup environment. With this function initially starting as a contract position, we envision that a strong contributor may find a potential opportunity to be offered full-time employment as our business expands. As a Senior Project Engineer contracted with OurEnergy you will execute and prepare engineering analyses, reports, designs, and drawings for Owner’s Engineer, Development, and Engineering scopes. You will also support scoping, budgeting, and scheduling recommendations for client proposals and interface with clients on project related matters as needed. This position requires excellent analytical, mathematical, IT, project leadership, and client communication skills. Typical projects will include, but are not limited to, power generation and distribution for critical infrastructure such as data centers, factories, or hospitals. Projects may include hybrid mini-grids, PV, BESS, fuel cells, biogas, green hydrogen production or fueling infrastructure, grid interconnect, or EV charging. Deliverables may include feasibility studies, vendor evaluations, systems designs, project management, and general technical consulting. Duties and Responsibilities • Perform 10-60% system engineering designs for hybrid mini-grids, PV, BESS, fuel cells, biogas, green hydrogen, EV charging projects, or power utility interconnections • Prepare, review, and manage execution of Feasibility Studies. • Build, optimize, and report on PV production and mini-grid simulation models using Solesca, Helioscope, Xendee, Homer, RatedPower, or equivalent modeling solutions. • Perform technical reviews, risk evaluations, and value engineering throughout all project lifecycle stages. • Exemplify leadership with internal and external team resources, develop internal processes, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives. • Lead technical discussions with clients and manage project budgets and schedules. • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Mandatory Qualifications: • US Pacific Time Zone work hours. • US citizenship or already established work visa; we do not sponsor new visas. • Bachelor's or Master's degree (prefered) in electrical engineering. • Professional Engineer (PE) license - electrical • 2-5 years of renewable energy engineering experience. • Extensive experience with at least one or more renewable energy systems designs: hybrid mini-grids, PV, BESS, fuel cells, biogas, green hydrogen, or EV charging projects. • Solid working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and renewable energy systems drawings and layouts. • Strong proficiency in software applications and ability to streamline, optimize, or automate personal work by leveraging novel software, tools, processes, and approaches. Preferred Qualifications: • Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Xendee, Homer, Solesca, PVsyst, Helioscope, Bluebeam, Civil3D, QGIS/ArcGIS • Previous experience as a project lead or project manager, including developing and communicating schedules and budgets. • Open to hybrid work with 1-2 days per month in our Santa Cruz, CA office, as needed Considered Compensation • This is a contract position.
